This Privacy Policy describes how BaitIQ ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the BaitIQ mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you consent to the practices described below.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Your data is stored on secure servers operated by Supabase. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no internet transmission is 100% secure.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we delete personal data within 30 days. Anonymized analytics may be retained longer for product improvement.
BaitIQ is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
Your data may be processed and stored in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.
California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, opt out of sale (we do not sell personal information), and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Contact support@baitiq.app to exercise these rights.
If you are in the EU/UK/EEA, you have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, portability, restriction, and objection. The legal bases for processing your data are: (a) contract performance to provide the App, (b) legitimate interests in operating and improving the App, and (c) your consent for location and notifications.
BaitIQ does not use cookies or third-party advertising trackers. We do not use cross-app tracking under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
