Welcome to BaitIQ ("the App," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the BaitIQ mobile application and related services. By downloading, installing, or using BaitIQ, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use BaitIQ. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
You may need to create an account to use certain features. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
BaitIQ offers an optional paid subscription ("BaitIQ Pro") providing access to premium features. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device's account settings. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a subscription period, except where required by law.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use BaitIQ for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or distribute the App.
You retain ownership of content you submit (catches, photos, notes). By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and use it as needed to operate the App. You are solely responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have all necessary rights to it.

BaitIQ provides fishing tips, lure suggestions, and weather/location-based recommendations as informational guidance only. We do not guarantee fishing success. You are solely responsible for following all applicable fishing laws, license requirements, catch limits, and safety practices in your area. Always check local regulations before fishing.
BaitIQ uses third-party services including Supabase (data storage), RevenueCat (subscription management), Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and weather data providers. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.
All App content, branding, designs, and software are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms or for any other reason. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BaitIQ and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the App's operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
